He wrote about the things that Jesus taught the people.People think that Mark was a friend of Peter, who was one of Jesus' apostles. Mark listened to Peter when he was talking about Jesus. He wrote down the things that Peter said. People also think that Mark was the young man in Mark 14:51-52. If that man was Mark, then he saw some of those things himself.
