She was very kind to her husband's mother, Naomi. They were very poor and Naomi was very sad. But Ruth and Naomi obeyed God.A man called Boaz helped them and he married Ruth. God blessed Ruth and Boaz. They had children and Naomi became happy again. King David and Jesus were both descendants of Ruth. See Matthew 1:5-6; Luke 3:32.
