When they did this, God punished them and they were sorry. When they were sorry, they asked God to help them. So God sent another judge to save them. Then they stopped obeying God again. This happened many times.The book of Judges teaches us how important it is to obey God. But if people who have stopped obeying God are sorry and turn to him, he is always ready to save them.
