14but the wives and the small children, and the beasts, and all that which will be in the city, you (PL) all plunder, shall you (sg) plunder before you(SG); and you(SG) must eat the plunder of your enemies, which Hashem your G-d has you(SG) given.

15thus shall you (sg) do to all cities which are very far from you(SG), which they are not of the cities of the from here/local nations/peoples.

16but of the cities of the from here/local peoples, which Hashem your G-d gives you(SG) for an inheritance, shall you (sg) not let live any that breathes.

17but destroy shall you (sg) them destroy: the Chitti, and the Emori, the Kena'ani, and the Perizzi, the Chivi, and the Yevusi, so as Hashem your G-d has you(SG) commanded;

18so that they shall you (PL) not teach to do in same way as all their abominable practices which they have done unto their g-ds, and you (PL) will sin unto Hashem your g-d.

19when you (sg) will camp/besiege on a city many days to hold/make war on you (PL), so that it to conquer, shall you (sg) not destroy her trees by lift up thereon a axe; for eat of them you may, but them cut down be allowed not; because is the tree of field a man, to be in/under siege from you(SG)?

20only a tree which you (sg) know, that it is not a tree to eat, it you may destroy and cut down, and build siege works round the city which hold/make with you(SG) war, until you (PL) go down/be subdued.
