pay heed, Yisroel, you (sg) go today on the other side of the Yarden to come inherit/possess peoples greater and stronger than you(SG), cities great and fortified unto in heaven,
a people great and tall, sons of the Anakim, which you (sg) know and which you (sg) have heard: who can stand before the sons of Anak?
shall you (sg) know be today that Hashem your G-d, he is the one who goes over/across you(SG) ahead of, a fire which consumes; he will them destroy/annihilate, and he will them make subjugate/subdue before you(SG), and will them drive before, and will them quickly destroy, so as G-d has you(SG) promised.
you(SG) must not say in your heart, when Hashem your G-d will them push out from before you(SG), so to say: for my righteousness has me G-d brought to inherit/possess this this land; when for the evil of the this nations/peoples dispossess/drive out them G-d from before you(SG).
not for your righteousness, and for the uprightness of your heart, you come inherit/possess their land, but for the wickedness of the this nations/peoples dispossess/drive out them Hashem your G-d from before you(SG); and so that fulfill to be the promise which G-d has sworn an oath to your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Yaakov.
and you(SG) must know be, that not for your righteousness gives you(SG) Hashem your G-d the this good land, it to inherit/possess; because a stiff-necked/stubborn people are you.
remember, you(SG) must not forget, how you (sg) have provoked Hashem your G-d in the wilderness; from the day on which you (sg) are having gone forth from land Egypt, until your coming to the this place, are you (PL) rebellious/recalcitrant having been against G-d.
also in Chorev did you (PL) provoke wrath Hashem, and G-d is having become incensed/angry on you (PL), you (PL) to destroy/annihilate.
that I am having gone up on mountain to take/receive the stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant which Hashem has with you (PL) established, am I remain on mountain forty days and forty nights; any bread have I not eaten, and any water have I not drank.
and Hashem has me given the two stone tablets written with G-d's finger, and on them is having been so as all words which Hashem has with you (PL) spoken on mountain from midst of fire in day of the gathering/assembly/congregation.
and it is having been at the end of forty days and forty nights, has me Hashem given the two stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant.
and Hashem has to me said: stand up, go down down on quickly from here, because corrupt/depraved having become is your people which you (sg) have drawn out from Egypt; they have self quickly turned aside from the way which I have them commanded; they have self made a molten/cast image.
and Hashem has to me said, so to say: I have seen the this people, behold a stiff-necked/stubborn people is it.
let away from me, and I will them destroy/annihilate, and will blot out their name from under heaven, and I will you make for a people stronger and greater than it.
have I self returned and have gone down from mountain, and the mountain has burning in fire; and the two tablets of the covenant are having been on my two hands.
and I have seen, behold you (PL) have sinned to Hashem your G-d; you (PL) have you (PL) made a cast/molten calf; you (PL) have self quickly turned aside from the way which Hashem has you (PL) commanded.
have I grasped the two tablets, and have they threw down from my two hands, and have them broken before your (PL) eyes.
and I have me thrown down before Hashem, so as the first time, forty days and forty nights; any bread have I not eaten, and any water did I not drink; over/because of all your sin which you (PL) have sinned, to do which is evil in the eyes of Hashem, him to provoke to anger/infuriate;
for I have self afraid before the anger and the wrath which Hashem has on you (PL) been angry, you (PL) to destroy/annihilate. and Hashem has also this time listened to me.
also on Aaron is Hashem very incensed/angry having become, him to destroy/annihilate, and I have praying having been also for Aaron in that hour.
and your sin, this calf which you (PL) had made, have I taken, and have it burned up in fire, and have it crushed/pounded, well grind up, until from where it is having been fine as dust; and I have thrown into its dust in the brook which descended down from mountain. –
also in Taverah, and in Massah, and in Kivrot-Hata'avah, have you (PL) provoke to wrath Hashem.
and when Hashem has you (PL) sent from Kadesh-Barnea, so to say: go up and inherit this land which I have you (PL) given, did you (PL) rebel against the mouth of Hashem your G-d, and you (PL) did him not believe, and not paid heed to his voice.
rebellious/recalcitrant are you (PL) having been against Hashem from the day which I knew you (PL). –
thus have I me threw down before Hashem the forty days and the forty nights which I have me threw down, because Hashem had said you (PL) to destroy/annihilate.
and I have praying having been to Hashem, and have said: Hashem you (sg) Adonoi, you(SG) must not destroy/kill your people and your inheritance, which you (sg) have redeemed with your greatness, which you (sg) have brought out of Egypt with a strong hand.
remember your servants, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov; you(SG) must self not look back on the hardness of the this people, and on its evil, and on its sin;
so that this land which you (sg) have us brought out from there, shall not say: because Hashem is not be able to them to bring into the land which he has them promised, and because he has them hated, therefore has he them drawn out them to kill in the wilderness.
and they are yet your people and your heritage, whom you (sg) have drawn out with your great strength and with your outstretched arm.
