1and you(SG) must make an altar for burning/to make smoke of incense; of acacia wood shall you (sg) it make.
2a cubit its length, and a cubit its width; foursquare shall it be, and two cubits its height; of it itself shall be its horns.
3and you(SG) must it overlay with pure gold, its top, and its sides around about,and its horns; and you(SG) must make for it a gold border/garland around about.
4and two golden rings must you(sg) make for it under its border/garland; on its two flanks/loins shall you (sg) them make – on its two sides — and they shall be for handles for the poles, it to bear on them.
5and you(SG) must make the poles of acacia wood, and them overlay with gold.
6and you(SG) must it place standing before the curtain which is in front of the aron/ark of witnesses/edut, before the the cover which is over the testimony/witness, where there will I self reveal to you(SG).
7and Aaron shall burn/make smoke on it incense of fragrant spice/incense; morning by morning, when he makes to fix/clean the branch lights, shall he it burn/make smoke.
8and when Aaron lights up the branch lights with regard to evening, shall he it burn/make smoke; a continual incense before Hashem of your (PL) generation after generation.
9you (PL) must not offer up on it strange incense, or a olah/burnt offering and a minchah/grain offering; and a drink offering must you (PL) not pour on it.
10and Aaron shall expiate/make atonement do on its horns one time in year; with the blood of the sin offering of blood atonement shall he one time in year expiate/make atonement do on it, for your (PL) generation after generation; a most holy holiness is it to Hashem.
When you count11and Hashem has spoken to Moshe, thus to say:
12when you (sg) will take up the number of the children of Israel according to their counting/inventory, shall they give each (male) a ransom for his life to Hashem, when one counts they, so that there shall not be among them an epidemic, when one counts them.
13this shall they give, each (male) who go into in the counting/inventory: a half shekel, on the holy shekel – twenty gerahs a shekel – a half shekel a separation of a portion/contribution to Hashem.
14each (male) who goes into in the counting/inventory, of twenty years old and upward, shall give the separation of a portion/contribution of Hashem.
15the rich person shall not increase, and the poor man shall not reduce from a half shekel, in the give/deliver the separation of a portion/contribution of Hashem, so as expiate/make atonement to do on account of your (PL) lives.
16and you(SG) must take this money of blood atonement, from the children of Israel, and you(SG) must it give for the work of Tent of Meeting, and it shall be the children of Israel for a memorial portion before Hashem, expiate/make atonement to do on account of your (PL) lives.
17and Hashem has spoken to Moshe, thus to say:
18you(SG) must also make a basin/kiyor of bronze/copper, with its stand of bronze/copper, self to wash; and you(SG) must it place standing between Tent of Meeting and between the altar, and put there water.
19and Aaron and his sons shall wash from it their hands and their feet.
20when they come into Tent of Meeting, shall they self wash with water, so that they shall not die; or when they approach to altar to serve, to burn up in smoke an offering by fire to Hashem.
21and they shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they shall not die; and it shall to them be an eternal law, to him and his seed upon generation after generation.
22and Hashem has spoken to Moshe, thus to say:
23you (sg) take for you(SG) also choice spices, liquid myrrh five hundred, and fragrant cinnamon a half of it, two hundred and fifty, and cane spice two hundred and fifty,
24and cassia five hundred, by holy shekel, and olive oil a hin.
25and you(SG) must make from them an oil of holy anointing, a fragrance/spice prepared just like the perfumer makes; an oil for holy anointing shall it be.
26and you(SG) must anoint with it the Tent of Meeting, and the aron/ark of testimony,
27and the table of food and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar for incense,
28and the altar for olah/burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin/kiyor and its stand.
29and you(SG) must them consecrate/sanctify, they shall be a most holy holiness; all that which touches self on them on shall become holy.
30and Aaron and his sons shall you (sg) anoint and them consecrate/sanctify to be kohanim to me.
31and to the children of Israel shall you (sg) speak, thus to say: an oil of holy anointing shall this be for me for your (PL) generation after generation.
32on a person's body shall it not poured become, and you (PL) shall not make such things, according to the mixture/recipe of it; holy is this, holy must it for you (PL) be.
33each who will prepare such things, or who will put of it on a foreigner/proselyte, shall be cut off become from his people.
34and Hashem has said to Moshe: take you(SG) fragrant spices/incense, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; fragrant spice/incense, and pure/refined incense; equal on equal shall they be.
35and you(SG) must make of it a incense, a fragrance/spice in same way as the perfumer makes, prepared with salt, tahor/clean, holy.
36and you(SG) must of it fine to grind up, and put from it before the testimony in tent of meeting, which there will I self reveal to you(SG); a most holy holiness shall it you (PL) be.
37and this incense which you (sg) will make – according to its mixture/recipe shall you (PL) for self not make; holy to Hashem shall it for you(SG) be.
38each which will make such things, to smell thereof, will be cut off become from his people.
