1and Hashem has spoken to Moshe, so to say:

2send you(SG) men, they shall scrutinize/spy this land Canaan, which I give to the children of Yisroel; to one man, to one man for his father lineage shall you (PL) send; each a chieftain among them.

3and Moshe has them sent from wilderness Paran according the mouth of Hashem; they all are having been men chief people/heads of the children of Yisroel.

4and these are their names: for tribe Reuven, Shammua the son of Zakur.

5for tribe Shim'on, Shaphat the son of Chori.

6for tribe Yehudah, Kalev the son of Yephunneh.

7for tribe Yissakhar, Yigal the son of Yosef.

8for tribe Ephrayim, Hoshea the son of Nun.

9for tribe Binyamin, Palti the son of Raphu.

10for tribe Zevulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi.

11for tribe Yosef: for tribe Menasheh, Gaddi the son of Susi.

12for tribe Dan, Ammi'el the son of Gemalli.

13for tribe Asher, Setur the son of Micha'el.

14for tribe Naphtali, Nachbi the son of Vophsi.

15for tribe Gad, Geuel the son of Machi.

16these are the names of the men which Moshe has sent scrutinize/spy this land. and Moshe has called Hoshea the son of Nun, Yehoshua/Yeshua.

17and Moshe has them sent scrutinize/spy this land Canaan, and has to them said: go up there to south, and go up in the mountain range.

18and you (PL) shall look on this land, what this is (like), and this people which sit/dwell thereon, if it is strong or weak, if it is few or many;

19and how is this land which it sit/dwell therein, if it is good or bad, and as are the towns which it sit/dwell in them, in camping or in strongholds;

20and how is the land, is it fat/rich/fertile or emaciated/barren, is here on it timber or not. and you (PL) shall you yourselves (PL) strong, and bring of the fruit of land. – and the days/period are having been the days of first grapes.

21are they gone out, and have scrutinized/spied this land from wilderness Tzin until Rechov, as one comes to Chamat.

22and they are having gone up to south, and are having come unto Chevron; and there are having been Achiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, children of Anak. – and Chevron is built having become seven years before Tzoan in Egypt. –

23and they are having come unto valley of Eshcol, and have cut off from there a branch with one bunch/cluster grapes, and have it carried on a pole between two; also of the pomegranates and of the figs have they taken. –

24that place have they called the valley of Eshcol out of concerning the cluster which the children of Yisroel have cut from there. –

25and they have self returned from investigating the land at the end of forty days.

26and they are having gone and having come to Moshe and to Aaron, and to the whole assembly of the children of Yisroel, in wilderness Paran to Kadesh; and they have brought an answer to them and to the whole assembly, and have them shown the fruit of land.

27and they have him told, and said: we are having come in the land where you (sg) have us sent, and it flows also with milk and honey; and this is its fruit.

28but strong is this people which sit/dwell in land, and the cities are fortified, great unto utmost, and also the children of Anak have we there seen.

29Amalek sit/dwell in south land, and the Chitti, and the Yevusi, and the Emori, sit/dwell in the mountain range, and the Kena'ani sit/dwell at the sea and at bank Yarden.

30has Kalev silenced the people against Moshe, and he has said: go up will we go up, and we will it inherit/possess, because overcome/defeat will we it overcome/defeat.

31but the men which are having gone up with him, have said: we can not go up against the people, because it is stronger than us.

32and they have let out/released an evil rumor against the land which they have it scrutinized/spied, among the children of Yisroel, so to say: this land which we are gone through through this, so that it spy out, this is a land which devours up its inhabitants, and this whole people, which we have seen therein, are men of great stature.

33and there have we seen the Nephilim, the sons of Anak which are of the Nephilim; and we are having been as locusts in our eyes, and so are we having been in their eyes.
