1Again, one preparing to sail, and about to journey over raging waves,
on a raft are brought safe to land.
6For in the old time also, when the race of men a seed of generations to come,
hath been wood through which cometh righteousness:
8But the idol made with hands is accursed, itself and among the idols of the nations shall there be a visitation,
Because, though formed of things which God created, they were made in sore conflict through ignorance of him,
guard either life or purity of marriage,
But one brings upon another either death by treachery, or anguish by adulterate offspring.
