1The second book of the prophet unto you, and done that which is evil before me.
35Your houses will I give to a people that shall come; Is. 52.15 & 55.5. Rom. 15.21.which not having heard of me yet believe me; they to whom I have shewed no signs shall do that which I have commanded.
36They have seen no prophets, yet they shall call their former estate to remembrance.
37I take to witness the grace of the people that shall come, whose little ones rejoice with gladness: Cp. John 20.29 & 1 Pet. 1.8.and though they see me not with bodily eyes, yet in spirit they shall believe the thing that I say.
38And now, O father, behold with glory; and Cp. Bar. 4.36,37.see the people that come from the east:
39Unto whom I will give for leaders, Cp. Mat. 8.11.Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Cp. Ecclus. 49.10.Oseas, Amos, and Micheas, Joel, Abdias, and Jonas,
40Nahum, and Abacuc, Sophonias, Aggæus, Zachary, and Malachy, Cp. Mal. 1.1 (mg.).which is called also the angel of the Lord.
