2 Ps 7.12; 64.3, 4 for look, the wicked bend the bow,

they have fitted their arrow to the string,

to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart.

3 Ps 82.5 If the foundations are destroyed,

what can the righteous do?”

4 Ps 18.6; 34.15, 16; 103.19 The Lord is in his holy temple;

the Lord’s throne is in heaven.

His eyes behold; his gaze examines humankind.

5 Gen 22.1; Ps 5.5; Jas 1.12 The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked,

and his soul hates the lover of violence.

6 Ps 75.8; Jer 4.11, 12; Ezek 38.22 On the wicked he will rain coals of fire and sulfur;

a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
