Masako and Japanese custom

(1) Masako is  from Japan 

  I ,Masako Katahira am a  relatively thin and short Japanese Christian. 

 I stay at Yerevan, Armenia now.

  I said this , because there are many fake Masakos and fake Johns in many countries. 

  Besides that , the business I get involved in has inclination of misunderstanding of who Masako is.

  I am 65 years old. But I look like a little younger.  But ordinary Japanese women  look like younger than real age.

(2)Different Japanese custom 

　Japan doesn't have custom of kiss or hug as greetings. Japanese have custom of bowing down our head as greetings without close skin touch.

    I think , although Japan is not a Christian country , Japan has concept that  respect each other and humbleness is good , which is in harmoney with the bible concept.  (Roman 12:10。Jacob4:6)

   Also Japanese  people often shake hands as greetings.

Japan has custom of shaking hands    I think for Japanese , shaking hands is expression of friendship for other people. 

    In paticular as business custom , well mannered attitude and humbleness is regarded as inportant in Japan.

   I think this Japanese culture is good. 

    Even I , Japanese is surprised to see that when company president and excutives made mistakes in something , they bow down for about a minute as expression of apology.

When Japanese make  a mistake, They bow down as apology    Japanese people regard when making mistakes , it's important to apologize. It's matured attitude.    This also shows Japanese society regards  humble and well mannered attitude  as important.  I think Japan is high quality society. Sometimes I feel like Japanese level is too high for me to catch up and follow.  But even so, most Japanese people are not Christians . Or they don't believe in God the Creator.  This is deadly weak points of theirs. That's too bad. Japan is pegan society.

It's sad Japan doesn't believe in God the Creator   I hope Japanese people believe in God the Creator.

  As Japan doesn't have custom kiss and hug as greetings.  I think this custom helps me avoid falling into fornication .

  But this may cause many sexless Japanese married couples. It is not good. Among married couples they should give their spouse more kiss and hug.

    However I think the Bible encourages us Christians to kiss among the same sex. (1Peter 5:14)

     This promotes warm feelings among people . I think the people receiving kiss and hug feel they are loved.

   So behaviors  encouraged in the Bible is so good. But it's a little difficult for me , shy Japanese , to do that.

  But I don't think the bible urges Christians to give kiss and hug among opposite sex. Because the Bible says it's good for men not to touch women.(1 colinthians 7:1)

  When I saw a man and a woman  gave kiss and hug on the street , I thought they are a husband and a wife. But soon after that, they said goodbye to each other and parted.

  So i wondered why they go to their home, the same direction. So I  was surprised to notice they are just friends. 

  If it occures in Japan, things are tought in wrong way.

  I think when some Japanese man gives  kiss and hug to Japanese woman , i think it's expression of special romantic love for her. 

    Or some Japanese women think it's sexual harrasment.

    So there are differences of some common sense in each country. 

    But I am old Japanese woman. So as for young Japanese people common cense may be different.
