The death of a saint (born again Christian) is precious because of:

1. THE PERSON WHO DIED - A CHILD OF GOD - John 1:12, Romans 8:15-16

2. THE PRICE THAT WAS PAID - THE SHED BLOOD OF CHRIST -
1 Peter 1:18-19

3. THE PLACE THAT HE HAS GONE - HOME - Philippians 1:21,
2 Corinthians 5:6-8, Revelation 21:1-4

4. THE PROMISE OF RESURRECTION - RAPTURE -
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
