Will there be toys in heaven?
"...But we have a building made by God. It is a house in heaven that lasts forever. Human hands did not build it" (2 Corinthians 5:1).
"I saw a new heaven and a new earth...I heard a loud voice from the throne. It said, 'Now God makes his home with people. He will live with them. They will be his people. And God himself will be with them and be their God...The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of jewel...The 12 gates were made from 12 pearls. Each gate was made out of a single pearl. The main street of the city was made out of pure gold, as clear as glass" (Revelation 21:1a, 3, 19a, 21).
Heaven will be more amazing than earth, whatever we get to do there.We don’t know exactly what kinds of things we’ll get to do and enjoy in heaven, but we won’t miss any of the toys we had here on earth. God has amazing and unexpected things for us to see and do and enjoy when we get there. The most glorious thing of all is that we’ll be able to worship God and actually see Him and be with Him forever!
