What age will everyone be in Heaven?

Questions about life in Heaven are difficult to answer because the Bible doesn't provide too many details about what our reality in Heaven will be like. We know it exists because Heaven is mentioned or described 276 times in the New Testament alone. However, descriptions of our actual existence in Heaven are fewer.

One of the things we wonder about is how old we will be (or appear to be) when we live in Heaven. Will those who died at a very young age, such as babies or children, get more mature bodies? Will old people still have their elderly bodies, or will they revert to a younger age? Is there some kind of ideal age that everyone will attain when they reach Heaven?

Unfortunately, the perceived age of God's sons and daughters within the place of Heaven is one of those things the Bible doesn't mention. Some take the concept of a "resurrection body" or "spiritual body" described in 1 Corinthians 15:35-49 to mean that there's an ideal age that everyone will share in Heaven.

"Ideal age" is not a biblical concept, but for the sake of curiosity, what might be the ideal age for a spiritual body? Do you think you'd want to be 15 forever? Many have speculated and believe that the "ideal age" is 30 because its right around mid-life. Some use 1 John 3:2 to back up the guess of an ideal age of 33 because that was the approximate age of Jesus when He died. Some believe we will all be very young because we are referred to as God's children in the Bible (John 1:12; 11:52; Romans 8:16; 1 John 3:1-10).

It's fun to speculate and imagine, but there's simply no way for us to know on this side of eternity. One thing we CAN be sure of is that when we get to Heaven, our bodies—no matter what age they are—will be gloriously perfect, flawless, and 100% Christ-like through and through. Our fallen nature will have disappeared, replaced with the white robes of purity and holiness (Revelation 6:11). We will no longer cry in sorrow or suffer in pain (Revelation 21:4). We will no longer be separated from God but be WITH Him, because death will have been conquered (Revelation 20:6).
