Is it ok to be honest with God?
"Aren’t two sparrows sold for only a penny? But not one of them falls to the ground outside your Father’s care. He even counts every hair on your head! So don’t be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows" (Matthew 10:29-31).
God wants us to be honest with Him, even when we are sharing our feelings.God already knows how we feel, so we cannot hide those emotions from God. He wants us to be honest with Him.
The Bible has a lot of accounts where people complain to God. For example, do you remember Job? He complained to God and shared his feelings. But he also told God that he trusted Him.
We can use this as a good example. We can share our feelings with God, but we can also tell Him that we trust Him and know He is good. We don’t need to be angry with God and complain in an angry manner. He is a loving Father and we can trust His goodness.
