As a kid, can I take communion/Lord’s Supper?
"Then Jesus took bread. He gave thanks and broke it. He handed it to them and said, 'This is my body. It is given for you. Every time you eat it, do this in memory of me.' In the same way, after the supper he took the cup. He said, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood. It is poured out for you'" (Luke 22:19-20).
"You eat the bread and drink the cup. When you do this, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again" (1 Corinthians 11:26).

This means that we should not simply eat the bread and drink the juice just for the matter of doing it. Instead, we should eat the bread and drink the juice in remembrance of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
It is important to know that communion does not save a person or earn salvation. Only by accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord can we be saved. Communion is a time to think and remember that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.
