What do I do when finding God seems hard?
"God, don’t remain silent. Don’t refuse to listen. Do something, God" (Psalm 83:1).
"God did this so that people would seek him. And perhaps they would reach out for him and find him. They would find him even though he is not far from any of us" (Acts 17:27).
"Lord, I will remember what you did. Yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago" (Psalm 77:11).
God is never far away. You can find Him by reading the Bible and praying to Him.Sometimes you may feel like God is gone or not listening. The truth is God is never far away. He is always with you. He is always listening. God is waiting for you to call out to Him. Jeremiah 29:13 says: “When you look for me with all your heart, you will find me.”
David was a man in the Bible and at times he felt God was hard to find. What did he do? He prayed and he remembered all the things God had done (Psalm 77). He knew God had done mighty things. He knew God would do even more mighty things in the future.
Finding God can seem hard, but it doesn’t have to be. Turn to God and pray to Him. Read the Bible because that is how God speaks to us. He is not far from each of us. You can find God today!
