What is theology?
"God has breathed life into all Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right" (2 Timothy 3:16).
"God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM.' Here is what you must say to the Israelites. Tell them, 'I AM has sent me to you'" (Exodus 3:14).
Theology is the study of God.Theology is a big word that means studying God and the Bible. All Christians should be involved in theology. Why? Because, by studying the Bible, we will learn more about God.
We will never be able to fully understand God because He is the great “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3:14). Theology will help us better know God. It will also help us praise and worship God better.
If we don’t study theology, we will be cheating ourselves out of knowing God. We need to be knowledgeable about the entire Bible in order to glorify God (2 Timothy 3:16). We will grow in our relationship with God when we study theology. Are you ready to study theology today?
