What is the Book of Life?
"Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will dress that person in white like those worthy people. I will never erase their names from the book of life. I will speak of them by name to my Father and his angels" (Revelation 3:5).
The Book of Life is the set of names of those who will live with God forever.We learn about the Book of Life in Revelation 20:15: "Anyone whose name was not written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire."
The Book of Life, sometimes called the Lamb’s Book off Life, contains the names of those people who are believers of Jesus and have accepted His gift of salvation. Once your name is written in the Book of Life, it cannot be erased.
If someone’s name isn’t written in the Book of Life, they will spend eternity separated from God.
