Why does God allow evil?

"Everyone has sinned. No one measures up to God’s glory" (Romans 3:23).

"But I wish they would always have respect for me in their hearts. I wish they would always obey all my commands. Then things would go well with them and their children forever" (Deuteronomy 5:29).

"Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life. Anyone who does not believe in the Son will not have life. God’s anger remains on them”" (John 3:36).

Evil is in the world because of sin.

God is perfect, holy, and loving. He doesn’t want bad things to happen. Due to sin, evil is in the world. God has given us free will, which means we can choose to do good or bad. When we choose to do wrong, we often suffer the consequences.

God does restrain evil to an extent. If He didn’t, we wouldn’t be here today! We should never blame God for the evil in the world. Evilness is not God’s fault. God is 100% good all the time.

God will judge the world and all people according to our sins. If we accept Christ, our sins are forgiven and we will live with God in heaven forever! God does allow evil in the world today, but a time is coming soon when we will be with Him forever in paradise.
