When I ask a question to GQKidz, why do you always answer with what the Bible says?
"God has breathed life into all Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right" (2 Timothy 3:16).
The Bible is our instruction book for life. It is God’s message to us.God’s Word, the Bible, is full of truth. It contains all we need to know about life and making good choices. It tells us all we need to know to glorify God.
The Bible is also written for us to obey and it should cause us to live differently. James 1:22 says, "Don’t just listen to the word. You fool yourselves if you do that. You must do what it says." The best thing to do with the Bible is to learn it and live it out in your life.
The Bible is the only book we can completely trust and believe, so we should live by its teachings. If we don't do what the Bible says, we can't please God. If you trust and obey God's Word, you will honor God and find true life. The only way to do what the Bible says is to turn from your own way and trust Jesus.
