What does the Bible say about sons?

"So keep my words in your hearts and minds. Write them down and tie them on your hands as a reminder. Also tie them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home. Talk about them when you walk along the road. Speak about them when you go to bed. And speak about them when you get up" (Deuteronomy 11:18-19).

"Some men brought to him a man who could not walk. He was lying on a mat. Jesus saw that they had faith. So he said to the man, 'Don’t lose hope, son. Your sins are forgiven'" (Matthew 9:2).

"Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God" (Romans 8:14).

The Bible talks about physical sons, spiritual sons, and what sons are to do.

The Bible talks about the physical lineage of male descendants as being sons and it talks figuratively about spiritual sons of God. A son is someone who is the male descendant of his parents. Sons are an important part of the family, not only in biblical times, but also in the present day. If you are a son, the Bible instructs you to obey your parents according to the Word and seek to glorify God in all you do.

In addition to being a biological son, a male can become a spiritual son of God. When a male believes in Jesus, they become a son of God. Since God is your Heavenly Father, you are now a son of God (Romans 8:14). Just like daughters, sons need to be taught about God, the right way to live, and how to glorify God in their daily lives.

You can glorify God in your life by having an active relationship with God, following Him, and serving Him in your life. As a child of God, you have an important job to serve Him and help others to know Him.
