How can I give my life to God?
"Brothers and sisters, God has shown you his mercy. So I am asking you to offer up your bodies to him while you are still alive. Your bodies are a holy sacrifice that is pleasing to God. When you offer your bodies to God, you are worshiping him in the right way" (Romans 12:1).
"We are telling people about these things. And so is the Holy Spirit. God has given the Spirit to those who obey him" (Acts 5:32).
"Then he said to all of them, 'Whoever wants to follow me must say no to themselves. They must pick up their cross every day and follow me'" (Luke 9:23).
You can give your life to Christ by placing faith in Jesus. He died for your sins.God wants you to give your life to Him by first placing faith in Jesus--believing Jesus died for the bad things you have done, was buried, and rose again. When you accept this, you are giving your life to God.
When you give your life to God by believing in Jesus, God gives you the Holy Spirit (1 John 4:13). The Holy Spirit helps you live your life for God. You no longer live for yourself. Instead, you now live for God.
Giving your life to Jesus means living for Him. Each day, you can choose to live for God—not for yourself. This can be hard sometimes, but it is always worth it. By giving your life to God, you will make God happy. He will help you become the best you can be!
