What is the wisdom of God?
"To start being wise you must first get wisdom. No matter what it costs, get understanding" (Proverbs 4:7).
"The law of the Lord is perfect. It gives us new strength. The laws of the Lord can be trusted. They make childish people wise" (Psalm 19:7).
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. In all your ways obey him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
The wisdom of God is found in respecting and obeying God.The wisdom of God can be found in the Bible. In fact, there is an entire book of the Bible dedicated to wisdom called Proverbs. This book can help Christians understand true wisdom and avoid foolishness. The Bible tells us we can obtain wisdom by respecting God (Proverbs 9:10).
God wants you to become wise. Wisdom will help you do the right thing. When you take time to read the Bible, you are growing in wisdom. However, you cannot only read the Bible—you have to obey it too (James 1:22-25). By learning about wisdom in the Bible and learning from your past mistakes, you will be able to become wise.
Respecting God is wisdom. You can respect God by obeying Him, listening to Him, and following Him. Life will work out best when you respect and obey God. If you need help with wisdom, you can just ask God (James 1:5). God promises to give you wisdom if you ask Him.
