Do I have to pray at bedtime?

"Never stop praying" (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

"I thank God whom I serve, as did my ancestors, with a clear conscience, as I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day" (2 Timothy 1:3).

God hasn’t set exact times we are supposed to pray.

Prayer is talking to God; it’s not something we do in order to cross it off our list. It is not a chore or something we are forced to do. It is something we want to do.

God wants us to talk to Him all the time. He wants to be in conversation with us all day long. Some people like to end their day with prayer so they can thank God for their day. Other people prefer to start their day in prayer. You can do both!

The important thing is that you pray throughout the day. It is a privilege to pray to God. Whether it’s nighttime or daytime, God loves to hear from you.
