Wound (Noun and Verb):

"a wound," occurs in Luk 10:34.

In Rev 13:3, 12, plege is used with the genitive case of thanatos, "death," lit., "stroke of death," RV, "death stroke" (AV, "deadly wound"); the rendering "wound" does not accurately give the meaning; in Rev 13:14, with the genitive of machaira, "a sword," AV, "wound" (RV, "stroke").
