This One Was Born in Zion

1A psalm of the sons of Korah, a song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.

2Adonai

loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3Glorious things are spoken of you, city of God. Selah

4“I will mention Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge Me— behold Philistia and Tyre, with Cush: ‘This one was born there.’”

5But of Zion it will be said: “This one and that one were born in her.” And Elyon Himself will establish her.

6Adonai

will count in the register of the peoples: “This one was born there.” Selah

7Then singing and dancing— all my fountains of joy are in you!
