Focus Verse of the Week
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:17)
Commentary
Whether it be singing, whether it be what you say or do, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus. Neither in worship, nor in his business and leisure activities, must the Christian engage in anything that cannot be done in Christ's name (that is, by his authority and in prayer to him). This covers our whole life. It applies to conduct, to the places you go, to your job. If in doubt, see if you can on your knees ask Christ to go with you and bless you in what you are about to do.
The Christian should always be thankful, because if he "does all in the name of Jesus," the Lord will always be with him, and work out all for good.

A Thought to Keep
When we let our eyes or our feet take us to places that God wouldn't bless, we lose our desire to praise and give thanks. Where are you? Take stock of your life today.
He is a cross pendant.
He is engraved with a unique Number.
He will mail it out from Jerusalem.
He will be sent to your Side.
