We knew the day was coming soon when we would have to say goodbye to my dad. His cancer had taken his voice, his ability to live a quality life, and every bit of strength he had left. When we got the call, for a moment time seemed to stop. Death has a way of making us face the reality of our fears and our faith. It takes us to a place where we see the reality of eternity and the hope of a future in heaven.
