Can I pray in school?

"All of you must obey those who rule over you. There are no authorities except the ones God has chosen. Those who now rule have been chosen by God. So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged" (Romans 13:1-2).

"Show proper respect to everyone. Love the family of believers. Have respect for God. Honor the emperor" (1 Peter 2:17).

"Don’t worry about anything. No matter what happens, tell God about everything. Ask and pray, and give thanks to him" (Philippians 4:6).

Yes, you can pray in school. You can pray anywhere!

You can pray anytime and anywhere. That includes while you’re in school. The Bible tells us to pray without stopping (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). It is very important that we talk to God throughout the day in prayer. We need to be actively praying for our teachers, families, and friends. That honors God.

Whenever you are worried, scared, or just happy, God wants you to talk to Him. Say a silent prayer and talk to God about the situation. He loves you SO much, so never stop praying.
