Why do I have to pray before bed?
"Never stop praying" (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
"Here is what we can be sure of when we come to God in prayer. If we ask anything in keeping with what he wants, he hears us. If we know that God hears what we ask for, we know that we have it" (1 John 5:14-15).
God wants us to pray all the time, even before we go to sleep.Do your parents tell you to pray before going to bed? That’s not a bad thing; it’s a good thing. Did you know God wants us to pray all the time? That’s right. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, "Never stop praying."
We can pray when we wake up, when we eat, all through the day, and before we go to bed. God loves to hear our prayers. He hears us and answers our prayers according to His will (1 John 5:14-15).
So don’t stop by praying only before bed or when you eat. Talk with God all the time. He loves to hear from you and enjoys helping you with the problems you face each day.
