What is the joy of the Lord?
"My spirit delights in God my Savior" (Luke 1:47).
"I have told you this so that you will have the same joy that I have. I also want your joy to be complete" (John 15:11).
"Always be joyful because you belong to the Lord. I will say it again. Be joyful!" (Philippians 4:4).
The joy of the Lord is the delight of knowing God.Christians will experience the joy of the Lord by following Jesus, learning more about Him, and from the Holy Spirit working in our lives.
The joy of the Lord will remain with you even in bad times. Even when you go through a hard time, such as a death of a loved one or the loss of a friendship, you will still have the joy of the Lord in your heart. Nothing and nobody can erase the joy of knowing Jesus. Through good times and bad times, God’s joy will always be there.
You will be able to experience the joy of the Lord better by obeying God, praying to Him, and learning about Him in the Bible. Jesus rejoiced greatly during His life and He wants you to have this joy too. All believers can experience the joy of the Lord today and every day!
