Are things either right or wrong?
"Don’t let evil overcome you. Overcome evil by doing good" (Romans 12:21).
"Run away from the evil things that young people long for. Try hard to do what is right" (2 Timothy 2:22).
Yes, the Bible teaches some things are either right or wrong.Sometimes a decision is a matter of which choice you like better. Should I eat chocolate ice cream or vanilla? Should I play basketball or volleyball? Other choices are either right or wrong. God gives many commands in the Bible about the things we should do as Christians and things we should not do.
In fact, 2 Timothy 2:22 teaches, "Run away from the evil things that young people long for. Try hard to do what is right..." We are supposed to stay away from evil and focus on doing what is right. As Romans 12:21 says, “Don’t let evil overcome you. Overcome evil by doing good."
