What is the Kingdom of God?
"'The time has come,' he said. 'The kingdom of God has come near. Turn away from your sins and believe the good news!'" (Mark 1:15).
"God's kingdom is not about eating or drinking. It is about doing what is right and having peace and joy. All this comes through the Holy Spirit" (Romans 14:17).
"His signs are great. His wonders are mighty. His kingdom will last forever. His rule will never end" (Daniel 4:3).
Parts of the Kingdom of God are occurring today and other parts will happen in the future. The Kingdom of God is God’s rule over the entire world, both physically and spiritually.The Kingdom of God has several aspects. The Kingdom of God is happening right now! Right before our very eyes! Since God is the eternal King, everything in the world is under His rule (Psalm 103:19).
Since we have accepted Jesus, He is the King of our life. We get to participate in His Kingdom! Only believers can truly come into God’s Kingdom (John 3:5-7).
God’s ultimate Kingdom will happen in the future. When God sets up His eternal physical Kingdom, it will last forever! In God’s future Kingdom, everything will be perfect. No more crying. No more sadness. It will be a Kingdom full of happiness and love. So exciting!
