Wist:
"to know," in the pluperfect tense (with imperfect meaning) is rendered "wist" (the past tense of the verb "to wit:" cp. WOT) in Mar 9:6; 14:40; Luk 2:49; Jhn 5:13; Act 12:9; 23:5.
