Strait (Be in A), Straitened:
"to hold together, constrain," is translated "I am in a strait" in Phl 1:23 (Passive Voice), i.e., being restricted on both sides, under a pressure which prevents a definite choice; so in Luk 12:50, "(how) am I straitened," i.e., pressed in.
