Reverence (Noun and Verb):
lit., "to turn in" (i.e., upon oneself), "to put to shame," denotes, when used in the Passive Voice, "to feel respect for, to show deference to, to reverence," Mat 21:37; Mar 12:6; Luk 20:13; Hbr 12:9.
