Hence:

akin to No. 1, is used

(a) of place, "hence," or "from hence," Luk 4:9; 13:31; Jhn 2:16; 7:3; 14:31; 18:36; in Jhn 19:18, "on either side (one)," lit., "hence and hence;" in Rev 22:2; it is contrasted with ekeithen, "thence," RV, "on this side... on that" (AV, "on either side"), lit. "hence... thence;"

(b) causal; Jam 4:1, "(come they not) hence," i.e., "owing to."

(2) In Act 1:5, the phrase "not many days hence" is, lit., "not after (meta) many days."
