(2) The father of Zabad, a soldier in David's army (1Ch 11:41).

Ahlai:

(ornamental) daughter of Sheshan, whom, having no issue, he gave in marriage to his Egyptian slave Jarha (1 Chronicles 2:31; 2:35). From her were descended Zabad, one of David's mighty men (1 Chronicles 11:41) and Aza‐riah, one of the captains of hundreds in the reign of Joash (2 Chronicles 23:1).
